1. Service

aristo-pets.com ("the Service") allows pet owners to place a permanent pin on a world map for their dog or cat, along with a profile page. The Service is operated by Letras Binárias ("we", "us").

2. Payment & Pricing

Placing a pet requires a one-time payment via Stripe. Prices are displayed in euros (EUR) at checkout. The payment is non-refundable except as required by applicable consumer protection law. We do not store your payment details — Stripe handles all payment processing securely.

3. Your Content

You retain ownership of all photos, text, and other content you upload ("Your Content"). By uploading, you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free license to display Your Content on the Service (map, profile page, and promotional materials). You warrant that you have the right to upload the content and that it does not infringe on any third party's rights.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to upload content that is illegal, offensive, misleading, or unrelated to pets. We reserve the right to remove any content or deactivate any pet profile that violates these terms, without refund.

5. "Forever" Promise

We intend for pet pins to remain on the map indefinitely. However, "forever" is subject to the continued operation of the Service. If the Service ceases operations, we will make reasonable efforts to notify users and provide data export options. We do not guarantee uptime or uninterrupted access.

6. Edit Links

Upon payment, you receive a private edit link via email. This link is the only way to modify your pet's profile. We are not responsible for lost edit links, though you can request a new one via our recovery page. Keep your email safe.

7. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for your pet's pin.

8. Modifications

We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. Material changes will be communicated via email to registered users when possible.

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Portugal. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Portugal.
